Family Law Information services are provided at designated Family Justice Services locations, in the Family Law Information Centre in Edmonton and in the Law Information Centre in Grande Prairie. Staff help the general public (particularly self-represented litigants), the legal community, the judiciary and government offices/agencies by providing the following:

Assistance is also provided to the judiciary by reviewing desk divorce applications (Calgary and Edmonton) and consent orders (Edmonton only), to make sure the forms comply with the formal requirements of the Child Support Guidelines and to alert the judiciary to any points of concern.
