Restraining Orders and Protection Orders

If you are in a family violence situation where the threat of danger is immediate, call your local police or RCMP detachment.  The police can obtain an Emergency Protection Order to provide you with immediate protection.

Click on the button that applies:
 

There is an Emergency Protection Order that will be reviewed by the Court of Queen's Bench, and you want assistance in preparing for that review
You have experienced violence or threats from a spouse or common law partner, and you want a restraining order, so that your partner can not come near you and/or your children
You have experienced family violence from a member of your family unit, and want an order protecting youself and/or your children and/or your property from that person, but the situation is not so urgent, and the application can be made on notice to the family member.
You want a restraining order against a person who is not a spouse or family member 
You are not sure if the person would qualify as a family member, or you are not sure of what acts would be considered family violence
You want to oppose an application for a Restraining Order or a Protection Order.
