The Family Law Information Centres provide you with information if you want to make a family law application and to help you learn about the Child Support Guidelines and other areas of family law.

What we do:

	We can give you information about family law.
	We can tell you which court forms to use to make a family law application.
	We can tell you the steps to take in making a family law application.
	We can act as a commissioner for oaths for court documents.
	We can refer you to legal and other resources in the community.

What we cannot do:

	We cannot give you legal advice on your particular circumstances. You must see a lawyer for that.
	We cannot help you choose if there is more than one way to solve your legal problem (that’s legal advice).
	We cannot help you make complicated legal applications.
	We cannot fill in the court forms for you.
