The primary mission of the Law Society Libraries is to facilitate access to legal information for the Alberta community, including its judiciary, lawyers, citizens, libraries and government agencies. We pursue this mission by acquiring, organising, making accessible, preserving, and disseminating legal information in print and electronic formats, by providing exceptional service to clients, and by creating a physical environment conducive to client needs. We have served the legal community in Alberta since 1885 and use of our collections is free to all who visit our libraries.
